St Pauls Cathedral in London, England: Backpacking Photo of the Week

This week’s Backpacking Photo of the Week is from London, England and features the beautiful St Paul’s Cathedral. London is jam packed with iconic landmarks and St Paul’s must count as amongst the most impressive.

My favourite approach to the cathedral is walking over Millenium bridge across the river Thames and seeing St Paul’s standing proud at the end of the walkway. You get a little taster of its impressive dome and as you get closer more and more of this stunning building appear. I noticed one of the informational signs as i got right up to the cathedral with the words ‘Welcome to the City of London’ at the top and thought it would make a great photo – hope you do too!

  1. St. Pauls is my favourite place to visit when going to London, although I haven’t actually been inside for years. Hopefully I will get to have another look around during the Olympics.
